1- Constantly complaining

We all have bad days where we just want to choke the crap out of everyone who annoys us, but constantly bitching and whining and every little thing gets tired… fast.

Negativity doesn’t bode well with most people so who in the world would want to spend most of their free time with someone who gives off an air that brings everyone down.

Keep the majority of your complaints to yourself and perhaps a new wave of positive energy will begin to take over.

2- Being a female chauvinist

I can’t tell you how often guys tell me that they can’t stand it when a woman thinks she’s far superior to a man. I thought the whole point of feminism was for equality not superiority.

Add to that the incredibly annoying “all men are pigs”, and you have yourself a boyfriend who wants to walk in the other direction and never look back.

Perhaps women have to balance work and family, but did you ever think about the pressure put on guys to support a household? We all have it hard, don’t act like you’re better than the opposite sex.

We’re yin and yang, let’s embrace that.

3- Being a slob

Many of the guys surveyed revealed that they dumped women for being slobs in the sense that their cars and apartments looked like a tornado had been through them.

Sure, not every guy makes his bed with hospital corners, but the last thing any guy wants is to date a woman who needs a maid.

4- Not knowing how to cook

This has nothing to do with “barefoot in the kitchen”; rather, most men know how to make simple dishes like pasta and stir-fry, so when a guy meets a woman who can barely boil water, it’s a major turn off.

Cooking is not rocket science, anyone can do it. So if you never took the time to learn how to make some basic food in a kitchen, that means you eat out a lot, which means you probably aren’t very healthy, which also means that dating you will likely get expensive.

All of this equates major turn off.

5- Letting yourself go

Whether it’s because you’re happy or miserable with us, letting yourself go is, by far, the biggest turn off for al men.

Think about it; if we met you and you were all sweet and then, as the months passed, you unleashed the real you, who turned out to be a rotten, bitter person, we would be turned off.

Why should it be any different when it comes to your physicality? We met you looking a certain way, so we assume that you will continue to look this way.
